Privacy Policy
How DialAgentMart collects, uses, and protects your personal data.
Effective date: 17 August 2026
This document is published in English only. If you need it in another language, contact us and we'll help.
1. Overview
DialAgentMart ("DialAgentMart", "we", "us", "our") is an AI-first property discovery platform for Tamil Nadu. We are the demand-side companion to MyAgentMart, the broker platform where property agents list their properties — we read that inventory to help you discover it, but we are a separate service with our own account system and our own data.
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website and mobile app, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). It applies to every DialAgentMart surface: browsing and search, the DIA assistant, Property Hunts, your wallet and credits, favourites and saved searches, and notifications.
Browsing and searching properties does not require an account. Creating an account (phone number + OTP) is required to save favourites, run Property Hunts, chat with DIA, hold a credit wallet, or reveal an agent's contact details.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account and profile data — your phone number (used to sign in via OTP; we never store a password), name, and optionally your email address, city, profile photo URL, and preferred language.
- Activity and preference data — searches, filters, favourites, saved searches and alerts, Property Hunt requirements (what you're looking for — purpose, budget, location, category), and your conversations and inferred preferences with DIA.
- Transaction data — your credit wallet balance, credit purchase history, and a record of which agent contacts you've unlocked and when.
- Device and technical data — push-notification device tokens, and, specifically when you unlock an agent's contact details, the device information and IP address associated with that action (used to prevent abuse — see Data security).
- Communications data — messages you send us through the Contact Us form or support email, and any attachments you choose to include.
We do not collect payment card or UPI details ourselves — credit purchases are processed by our payment gateway partner, described in Payments below.
3. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account, and verify your phone number via OTP.
- To operate the service you asked for: run searches, power DIA's recommendations, match your Property Hunts against new inventory, maintain your favourites and saved searches, and process credit purchases and contact reveals.
- To send you notifications you've opted into — e.g. a Property Hunt match, a low-balance alert, or an update on a saved search — over push, email, SMS, or WhatsApp, per your channel preferences.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse of the credit system, and misuse of the contact-reveal feature (for example, rate-limiting how many contacts can be unlocked in a short period).
- To respond to support requests sent through Contact Us.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations — for example, retaining wallet and transaction records.
We do not use your personal data to serve third-party advertising.
4. DIA and AI processing
DIA (Dial Intelligent Assistant) is our conversational assistant. When you talk to DIA, your messages are processed by our AI providers — currently Anthropic (conversation understanding and response generation) and Voyage AI (search and matching embeddings) — acting as our service providers under contract, solely to power DIA's replies and recommendations. They do not use your conversations to train their own general-purpose models.
DIA remembers structured preferences you've told it (for example, that you're looking for a plot in a particular budget) so it doesn't make you repeat yourself. This memory is personal data: you can view it, correct it, or ask DIA to forget something ("DIA, forget that I wanted a plot"), and erasing it removes it from future recommendations.
Match scores and recommendation reasons are generated by our matching and AI systems from your stated and inferred preferences — they are a decision-support tool, not a guarantee, and you should independently review any property before acting on it.
6. Payments
Credit purchases are processed by Razorpay, our payment gateway partner. When you buy credits, your payment details are entered directly with Razorpay and are subject to their own privacy policy and security standards — we do not receive or store your full card, UPI, or bank details. We receive confirmation of successful payments and use that to credit your wallet and maintain your transaction history.
8. Data retention and erasure
We keep your account and activity data for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward for legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes. Device information and IP addresses logged against a contact reveal are kept only for the period needed to detect and investigate abuse.
When you delete your account, we anonymize your account record — your name, email, and phone number are removed or scrubbed — rather than deleting the row outright. This is because your wallet ledger and contact-reveal history are financial records we're required to keep for accounting integrity; anonymizing preserves that ledger without keeping your identity attached to it. Content you generated — favourites, saved searches, Property Hunts, notifications, and DIA preferences — is deleted.
9. Your rights
As a data principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data (most of this you can edit directly in your Profile and Settings).
- Withdraw consent for a specific purpose — for example, turning off marketing messages or a particular notification channel — at any time in Settings, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Request erasure of your account, subject to the retention needs described above.
- Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Register a grievance about how we've handled your personal data (see Grievance officer and contact us).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@spyderai.in. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
10. Data security
We restrict access to personal data to what's operationally necessary. In our admin tools, sensitive fields like phone numbers and email addresses are masked by default; viewing an unmasked value requires a justified reason and is logged. All administrative access to customer data is audited.
We rate-limit contact reveals (per account and per IP address) and monitor for abuse of the credit system. While we work to protect your data, no online service can guarantee absolute security, and you should also take reasonable steps to keep your device and account secure.
11. Children's privacy
DialAgentMart is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into property-related conversations and transactions. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has created an account or provided us data, contact us and we'll remove it.
12. International data transfers
Some of our service providers — including our AI processing partners — may process data on servers located outside India. Where this happens, we rely on contractual protections with those providers to safeguard your data consistently with this policy and applicable law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service evolves or as law requires. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and, where required, notify you through the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use DialAgentMart after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
14. Grievance officer and contact us
For any question about this policy, to exercise your rights, or to raise a grievance about how your personal data has been handled, contact our Grievance Officer at support@spyderai.in. We aim to acknowledge grievances promptly and resolve them within the timeframe required under the DPDP Act.
